Privacy Policy

The Chunaav ("we", "the game") is a free parody fighting game at thechunaav.com. This policy explains what information the game uses and why.

Playing as a guest

If you play without signing in, your party, leaders and progress are saved only in your browser on your device (local storage). We do not receive them. Clearing your browser data deletes this progress.

Signing in with Google

If you choose to sign in, we receive your email address and a Google account identifier through our sign-in provider. We use them only to create your account and keep your progress safe. We do not get your Google password and we do not post anything to your Google account.

For signed-in players we store: your display name, party name, colour and symbol, game currencies and items, leaders and ranks, match and online-match results, election and coalition progress, and daily mission progress.

What other players can see

Online matches and your IP address

To keep fights fast, online matches try to connect your device directly to your opponent's device (peer-to-peer, using WebRTC). Like any direct connection, this can let the other device see your IP address. If a direct connection is not possible, the match is relayed through our real-time server instead.

Where data is stored

Account data is stored with our database and sign-in provider, Supabase, on servers in Mumbai, India. Access is protected so that each player can only read their own account data, and changes to game progress go through server-side rules.

What we don't do

Ads and payments

The game currently shows no third-party ads and takes no payments. If we add rewarded ads or in-game purchases, we will update this policy first to explain which partners are involved and what they receive.

Children

If you are under 18, please play as a guest, or sign in only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
